36 Crazyfists

Alaskan metal heavyweights 36 Crazyfists have posted an entire show from their current tour online. The set was filmed at The Lost Horizon inSyracuse NY and can be viewed at The UVTV website:

In other news 36 Crazyfists are to film their January 9, 2009 concert in Anchorage, Alaska for a forthcoming DVD. According to Lindow, "the show will be monstrous as the ones in the past have proved to be what dreams are made of. But as the years have gone on, you can imagine the amount of ridiculous footage we have from backstage antics to being a 18-year-old skinny, punk-ass kid getting my long hair chopped off by [Steve] Holt [guitar] in a drunken stupor; it's things like this that will be hilarious to sift through and add to our special features section of the DVD."

Fightstar Press Release

Following their Radio 1 play listed single “I am the Message” earlier this year, Fightstar will be releasing a new single - The English Way on November 3rd 2008. It will be on their new label, Search and Destroy, a record label venture from Raw Power Management.

“The English Way” which is about the broken English society, and how to try to rebuild it, will be released in three formats; on CD, 7” vinyl and as a digital bundle. The b-side tracks feature vocalist Charlie Simpson on drum duty, as drummer Omar Abidi is currently nursing a broken hand. Amongst the b-sides is a song originally written and recorded by songstress Imogen Heap. All extra tracks on the release are as follows:

B-sides - Colours Bleed – for single ; Drown – 7” vinyl; The English Way (acoustic) – for digital bundle; Hide & Seek (Imogen Heap cover) – digital bundle

The band have also hooked up with MySpace who will be giving members the chance to win a party at their school with Fightstar, Kate Nash, The Wombats and Ironik. The school with the most votes wins the party! Click on to vote and win the party of 2008! Go to: www.myspace.com/schoolinvasions. Singer Charlie Simpson said “We are always excited to play a show with a twist, and I’m sure this will be no exception. It’s a great opportunity to be given and we are really looking forward to rocking out in a local school!”

Watchmen Sign To Z Records

Z are extremely proud to announce the signing of the Argentinean act Watchmen. Label boss Mark Alger had been chasing the band down for nearly a year with no luck, that was until he mentioned the band to Snow's manager Ricardo Pugailli during a routine business call. Ricardo helped bridge the language barrier and started off communication between the band and Z  which resulted in the deal being finally inked on September 27th.

Hailing from Buenos Aires Watchmen are ready to set Europe alight, featuring  the amazing vocal performances of Ivan Sencion  alongside the amazing guitar work of Emmanuel Lopez plus the talents of Germain Leth, Leonardo Palmieri and Dukke.
