A traditional power trio that come with with plenty of punk attitude, Severe Zero are warming up for the release of their debut album 'Dead Air' with 'Silence on the Radio' available as a single via all of the usual download sites.

An insistent and aggressive number it serves as a good example of post-hardcore / modern day punk with an urgent riff and more melodic mid-section breakdown. It's testimony to the band that, having been together for such a relatively short time, they are able to deliver the goods at such an early stage in their career. Listening to some of the additional tracks on their MySpace one that makes an immediate mark is 'The Patience', full of angst and anger with an instant hook.
