Not to be confused with the Leeds-based band of the same name, this Immune are a Norwegian quartet who formed a couple of years ago and with a keyboard heavy sound tread similar ground to the likes of 30 Seconds To Mars and The Killers.

Lead track ‘Adrift’ is an energetic rocker with the obligatory driving riffs interspersed with electronica whilst ‘Tainted’ starts off in a similar fashion but develops into a more ambient feel that blends effectively with the chorus. Pick of the five songs is the radio friendly ‘Since You Went Away’ where the synths are even more prominent and is high on emotion and charm.

If you like your modern rock complete with bells and whistles then this is a decent enough listen
