Debut album 'Complications' received a thumbs up from HRH a while back and now Dead Letter Office return with a double A side single available as a free download. Frontman Benjamin Hiorns still sounds like Lloyd Cole but we can forgive him this as both 'Chainkickers' and 'The Comeback Kid' are quality slices of contemporary rock that should be more than enough to secure them a record deal.

It is the latter that is the pick of the two tracks with its instant riff bouncing along through the verses and boasting a smooth and memorable chorus that will stay with you for some time. There is plenty to suggest here that DLO have a bright future ahead of them and with the album still available for a fiver you could do a lot worse than give them a chance.
