Tygers Of Pan Tang + Steve Grimmett

Thursday November 6th - 7.00pm

Newcastle @ Trillians

Tygers Of Pan Tang

2008 has seen a phenomenal resurgence of this once NWOBHM giant, with the latest album from Tygers Of Pan Tang, Animal Instinct,  creating a great deal of interest from the fans and media alike scoring an average 8/10 in all reviews. Geoff Barton of Classic Rock magazine even went as far as to state that if he only had enough money for one album from Whitesnake/ Def Leppard or the Tygers he would probably go for Animal Instinct. The album  sold over 2,000 copies in the first four weeks of it's release and continues to sell in the UK. The band has been invited to play a number of festivals on the back of the album including the prestigious Hard Rock hell 2 and the bands profile continues to increase.

The band's live Set is based around their first three albums Wildcat, Spellbound and Crazy Nights as well as including new songs from Animal Instinct and the aim of the band's shows is to bring back the feel of "how concerts used to be”

Steve Grimmett

Steve Grimmett was the voice of Grim Reaper who had considerable success throughout the world in the mid eighties with classic albums “See you in hell” and “Fear No evil”. Steve is a fantastic vocalist and has a very professional stage presence. A new solo album was released in 2007 called Personal Crises which has not only re-created considerable interest in Steve but has revived the sales of the Grim Reaper back catalogue.

Due to this revived interest the Live set will be based around the best of Grim Reaper with additional songs from Personal Crises and from Steve`s mega selling Lionsheart project which reached number one in the mainstream charts in Japan.

A third, as yet unnamed band will also be added to the bill to open the show.
