Mini-Lp from this indie pop quintet who received good reviews for debut EP ‘The Birds and the Bees’ and have subsequently developed their sound to offer up a more polished and mature release with ’Castles’. There are some nice, deft, touches here, notably on the radio friendly ‘Noughts and Crosses’ and the mellow title track that suggest Tonight Is Goodbye have enough about them to avoid falling into the quagmire of pop-punk and are capable of carving out their own niche. The incredibly catchy and adrenaline-fuelled ‘Lucky Boy’ and ‘Nobody Cares’ are sure-fire dance floor fillers and there is an infectious energy throughout.

Worth checking out, ‘Castles’ was released on July 7^th.
