If you thought Gallows were hardcore, think again because Terror are back with their follow up to last years “Rhythm Amongst The Chaos” and it's another album of old school in your face hardcore fused with pit hungry metal. Opener “Voice Of The Damned” and the following track “Relentless Through And Through” are both hard hitting power houses of modern hardcore, like Hatebreed just without the blatant Slayer influence. These two set the basis for an album that proves to be a real
romper stomper, loaded with hard hitting riffs, bone
crunching breakdowns and vocalist Scott Vogel comes across like a Rottweiler in
human form!
If you blink you could
actually miss this album as each two minute track bludgeons
its way through your ear drums, “Betrayer” and “Rise Of The
Poisoned Youth” work really well back to back, almost
fitting together like one long track. With other highlights
of the album being “What I Despise” which showcases Nick
Jett’s skills in the band, “Feel Our Pain” is a passionate
track, a bit like what Agnostic Front could be if they
beefed up everything they have ever recorded.
“Suffer, To Return
Harder”, is a final in your face, chorus shout along that
ends the album perfectly. This makes a good stop gap if your
waiting for the next Hatebreed album, however its also a
killer Terror album so is worth buying regardless!
